    def why_cant_i_understand(lst)
        for number in range(0,(len(lst))):
            lst[number] *= 2
            return lst

Im sorry if I coded this wrong my apologizes again but im just not sure where the arguement (lst) comes into play or how the functions(range,len) are just magically taking the arguement (lst) and why does (lst[number]) have to be in brackets it doesnt look like a list. Also the return is confusing too. Is there anyway I could talk to anyone that would help me understand these topics a little bit better it would make my day. Thank you.
