Restart a supervisor Daemon without root

I've reached out to Taylor Ortwel on Twitter and got nothing on this question, so not sure if this is the best place to ask next.

I'm looking to restart a Forge made Daemon in a Envoyer release command (the app is not using the Laravel stack or queue, it's a node site).

Forge creates supervisor config, with what I'm assuming is root (conf it's owned and sup is running as root on the server, so i guess it stores your root user pw?)

Envoyer runs the commands as the forge user - so the restart command fails.

Is there a way i can restart the current supervisor instance of npm start (or get supervisor to restart it) without root?

Anyone got any bright ideas?! Would be much appreciated!!

Thanks
