Requesting in node with a VPN gives ETIMEDOUT

Ok I'm using this VPN called Psiphon because I'm poor and I didn't pay for Internet this month, so that VPN solves it. I'm making a Discord bot and every request I send always gives the error ETIMEDOUT, I'm not putting code because it's not a specific thing, it's just that everytime I send a request it gives an error, even if I send it with other modules (snekfetch, request...) And so my question is, is there any setting I can change in node that lets me use this VPN?
