Protect Hapi.JS from attacks [on hold]

I am looking for an open source solution that can be used to protect Hapi.JS from: SQL injection, XSS and brute force attacks. Found a package that does escaping for MySQL. However, I am not using MySQL. Ideally, would be nice to find a generic solution, though currently I am using a specific database server - Postgres. Found this on stackoverflow. Nothing regarding XSS or brute force, for Hapi.

My understanding is that prerequisites should be used for this...

If you have done this and have recommendations, or perhaps seen a good article somewhere, please provide pointers.

Thank you
