I have 2 variables:

words // list
word // string

When I try to do if:

if (words[i].length <= word.lenght)

It never continues (syntax is OK, just deleted the { here)

So I added console.log to see what is happening:

console.log(words[i].length)
console.log(word.length)
console.log(words[i].length <= word.lenght)

The output is

3
3
false

I don't understand this.

There is a typo in your code, Please replace this line:

if(words[i].length <= word.lenght)

to this line, in order to eradicate the problem:

if(words[i].length <= word.length)
