How can I download images from a Git repository. So the repo contains just .md files but there are links for image files which are embedded in it and when I download the repo just the .md files are downloaded so how can I also download the images relevant to each file.

Answer 1

You would need to process and parse those md files, looking for URL of images.

With Javascript/python, see for instance "Python 3: How to extract url image?"

Then you can download them.

For a complete example, based on a markdown source: "Check image urls using python-markdown"
