So I have a sample string that looks like this: "T([Units Worked], [Product Type].[Class].[TIME])"

My goal is to build a regex pattern to extract values that are enclosed by brackets BUT here's a twist: I need to group the values that have been concatenated by PERIOD (.). In this case my desired output should be:

[Units Worked] and [Product Type].[Class].[TIME]

This is not necessarily the exact output. I just need a logic to extract the values enclosed by a bracket (which is an easy one) AND the values that have been concatenated by period. Also it's not necessary that I should use regex. Any suggested algorithm/approach is welcome.

Note: The input string is not always separated by comma so I can't use that to separate the values
