How can i make my sidebar-menu set transparent, so that the image of a container will be in the background of the sidebar-menu in wordpress?

I am building a website with wordpress right now and want to make the background of the sidebar transparent, so that the background-images of my containers will be the background of the sidebar-menu. But when I set the background-color of the sidebar to transparent, the background-color is just white and I can't see the images of the containers.

This is an example how I want to make it look like:

And this is how it looks in my website right now:

I am using the avada theme.

Does anybody know how can I solve the problem?
