I have started to learn Android few days so I would like to apologize for any of my silly questions but I am stuck.

I am trying to work on Google Map APIs. My app is crashing every time I am trying to launch it, upon investigation I found one notification in build.gradle file.

Please refer this image to see the message from compiler

I changed com.android.support.constraint:constraint-layout:1.0.0-alpha7 to com.android.support.constraint:constraint-layout:1.0.0-alpha9 to support compileSdkVersion 26. I am not finding any relevant n google to fix this issue. Please guide me on this . Many thanks !

Please refer to this post, if you run the Gradle command you can see what of your dependencies has a different buildtools version.

Can you post the result of Logcat when it crashes? If you don't know about LogCat then check the image below. The tab named "Android" or "Android Monitor" is your Logcat. Just post the results of that when you are app crashes. So I can see the actual issue. I don't think the app is crashing due to version difference, but surely it's better if you change those.
